About Our Lodge

Zion Lodge No. 1 has been a cornerstone of Detroit's community since 1764, making us Michigan's oldest Masonic Lodge. We are part of Freemasonry, the world's oldest fraternal organization, built on principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth.

Our members come from all walks of life, united by a common desire for self-improvement and service to our community. We meet regularly to conduct our business, practice our rituals, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.
